I swear to god if my laptop doesn't get it's pissy attitude back in order and start WORKING AGAIN i will make it crap itself by way of sheer willpower.

ANYWAY. in this journal, I plan to discuss:
movies
pokemon
poetry and writing in general
MY LITTLE PONY??!? what is this!
and maybe a thing or two otherwise, but that's all in and over betweenways.

SO MOVIES. there's been almost nothing worth seeing in theaters lately but I just got back from watching Chronicle and I say ... WATCH IT.
I can't even explain/remember the last time I got emotionally involved in a movie like i did with Chronicle. it's funny/engaging/heartwrenching/relatable/everything, and by the time i got out of that movie theater I was freaking depressed because in the end-
IN THE END, SOMETHING GOOD HAPPENS. hahahaha no spoilers here but really I suggest you watch it. I found myself identifying so totally with the main protagonist that if I were in his shoes I think I might very likely end up doing exactly what he did.

aside from chronicle everything looks shitty (another ghostrider? OH GOD) so uh ... MOVING ON.

actually I just said pokemon because I wanted to tell you all how much better the second generation of games is compared to anything else.

- It has, in my very humble opinion, pretty much all the best pokemon in any of the games. All 151 original plus the ones they added in, which isn't too too many or too few and they're all still (mostly) pretty original & not stupid looking. (not all later pokemon were stupid looking, I just don't like most of the ones from r/s/e or d/p/pl OR ESPECIALLY b/w)

- Instead of your average 8 gyms it has 16 - you get to try out a new region and then go and battle your way through your old r/b/y hometown! NOSTALGIA, ANYONE?? I love it when a game lasts twice as long as you think it will.

- It has the two hottest NPC characters of all time - Silver, and Trainer Red. don't tell me you think otherwise.

- BEST LEGENDARIES EVER

- also the best five of the eevee sisters, no silly glaceon/leafeon fiddling around.

- aaaaaand, if you really prefer the DS games over the original gameboy ones, you can always play heart gold/soul silver and get all the same awesome. (plus, you can make your pokemon walk behind you like in pokemon yellow. SWEETNESS)

poetry is just for the poetry challenge thing. UH, ALSO, I HAVEN'T REPLIED TO ALL MY MESSAGES YET SO DON'T FEEL IGNORED I'M JUST HAVING ISSUES WITH MY LAPTOP ATM.

Day 17: Write a poem that employs a rhyme scheme. It can be a poem in verse or not. "Tell it slant" or not.

writing and fighting
urging, then surging
filling and poisoning
leaking and purging

my pain is my gain
and sorrow and link
without it, i lose

okay so honestly I haven't seen any of this show and I have no idea what it's like. morals? ponies? magic? YEAH. WELL.
regardless people are making a killing selling fan plush and I want in on the dough xDDD SO I'M MAKING A ... FLUTTERSHY.
after that probably rainbow dash because she looks the cutest.

SO ... just poking around, how many of you are actually looking to buy your own MLP plush? not from me, just in general. I want to know how popular this show really is haha.
